Demonstrating the Future of Robotic Mowing

GaLaBau 2026, one of Europe’s largest trade fairs for landscaping, garden design and green space maintenance, provided AM ROBOTS with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the latest developments in robotic lawn mower technology. Together with our German distributor, we welcomed dealers, installers and industry professionals to discover our STORM robotic mowers and explore new business opportunities.

Demonstrating Navigation Where RTK Falls Short

One of the main highlights at GaLaBau was our live demonstration of robotic navigation inside a metal-clad exhibition building. In this environment, RTK signals were unavailable or unreliable, making it an ideal setting to demonstrate the advantages of alternative navigation technologies.

While RTK-based robots could not navigate the demonstration area, vision-based and LiDAR-equipped robots were able to operate inside the building. This gave visitors a practical opportunity to see how these technologies can support robotic mowing in environments where satellite-based positioning is limited.

We also demonstrated obstacle avoidance by stepping directly in front of a moving robot. Visitors could observe how the robot detected the obstacle and responded, highlighting the importance of reliable detection and safety-focused technology in modern robotic lawn mowers.

These hands-on demonstrations allowed dealers to evaluate the technology in practice rather than relying on specifications alone.

Introducing the New STORM Residential Robot for 2027

Visitors could also get an exclusive look at our new STORM residential robotic mower for 2027, designed for lawns measuring 800–1.200 m².

The new model expands our residential range and gives dealers another solution for customers with smaller gardens. With the growing demand for automated lawn care in private gardens, offering robots suited to different lawn sizes helps dealers address a wider range of customer needs.

Exclusive Dealer Offers and Personal Support

Throughout GaLaBau, AM ROBOTS presented exclusive trade fair offers, including combined packages featuring a robotic mower garage and blades. These bundles give dealers a convenient way to offer complementary products while creating additional sales opportunities.

Visitors also received a goodie bag containing our latest catalogue, Danish delicacies, practical work tools and caps for their dealerships.

Our team consisted of three sales representatives from Denmark, alongside our German distributor Joist, represented by its manager and a colleague. This close collaboration ensured visitors could discuss products, technical questions and potential business opportunities directly with the people who support our dealer network.

A Successful Exhibition with Strong Dealer Interest

The response at GaLaBau was exceptionally positive. All five team members were engaged with customers almost continuously, from approximately 30 minutes after the exhibition opened until around 30 minutes before closing.

More than 50 prospective dealers registered their interest in becoming AM ROBOTS dealers during the exhibition. This strong level of engagement demonstrated the demand for reliable robotic mowing solutions, practical technical demonstrations and dependable supplier support.

Following GaLaBau, AM ROBOTS also participated in GroundsFest 2026, continuing to connect with professionals across the landscaping and garden machinery industry.
